In March 2017, The Legal 500 named eight Cravath attorneys to its inaugural “Hall of Fame” list, which recognizes individuals who have been ranked as “Leading Lawyers” in the United States for six or more consecutive years. Cravath partners included in the Hall of Fame are Evan R. Chesler (Leading Trial Lawyers), Richard W. Clary (Leading Trial Lawyers), Stephen L. Gordon (International Tax and US Taxes: Non‑contentious), Andrew W. Needham (International Tax), Robert I. Townsend III (Telecoms and Broadcast: Transactional) and Craig F. Arcella (Capital Markets: Debt Offerings and Capital Markets: High‑Yield Debt Offerings). Of Counsel Michael L. Schler (International Tax) and retired partner Kris F. Heinzelman (Capital Markets: High‑Yield Debt Offerings) were also listed.
