On October 15, 2020, Cravath partner Ting S. Chen participated in “Preparing for Shareholder Activism: What You Need to be Doing Now 2020,” a program presented virtually by the Practising Law Institute. Ting spoke on a panel entitled “The Current State of Hedge Fund Activism and Activist Theses,” during which she discussed the latest trends in activist campaigns during the COVID‑19 pandemic, key takeaways from 2020 activist campaigns, and what to expect in 2021.
