United Utilities Group plc’s Placement of New Ordinary Shares

Cravath, as U.S. counsel, represented United Utilities Group plc in connection with its approximately £800 million placing of new ordinary shares. United Utilities Group plc provides water and wastewater services to around eight million people and businesses in the North West of England. The shares were listed on the London Stock Exchange. Shares also trade over the counter in the USA in the form of American depositary receipts (ADRs). The transaction closed on May 5, 2026.
