Hill was featured on a June 19, 2026 episode of the M&A Advisor Podcast, entitled “Risk & Returns: Creating Success in Business and Life.” The episode includes a conversation between Evan and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, which originally took place as a fireside chat at The M&A Advisor’s 2026 Distressed Investing Summit in Palm Beach, Florida. The discussion covers Ross’ memoir and lessons from his career, reviewing the importance of relationship building and calculated risk‑taking, offering tips for successful negotiation and sharing advice for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The program addressed a broad range of problems that confront modern boards, including the board’s role in setting business strategy, CEO and board succession, crisis management, techniques for controlling legal liability, challenges posed by activist investors, boardroom dynamics, international trade issues, the global economy and cybersecurity threats.

On June 9, 2026, Cravath partner Elad Roisman participated in the Capital Markets Summit, which was hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness in Washington, D.C. Elad, former Commissioner and Acting Chairman of the SEC, spoke on a panel entitled “The Future of American Capital.”

Leete participated in the 44th Annual SEC and Financial Reporting Institute Conference, which is co‑sponsored by the University of Southern California’s Leventhal School of Accounting and Financial Executives International, in Los Angeles, California. The conference hosted industry leaders, accounting executives and policy setters, including the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Chairman of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, to discuss recent accounting, auditing and financial reporting issues. John is Chair of the Institute’s Advisory Council and former director of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance; Jennifer is former associate director in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement.

In the Q&A, Nicole discussed navigating heightened risks in anti‑money laundering and national security, noting that she strives to provide a practical perspective to clients so they can understand the shifts in enforcement priorities and resources at the DOJ. Reflecting on her career and her favorite historical figure, Abraham Lincoln, Nicole described the importance of resilience and investing in personal relationships to sustain a demanding legal career, advising junior attorneys that “to be good at your job, you must invest in your relationships and stay connected to the people and causes that matter most to you.”
