Collier Kirkham retired from Cravath’s Corporate Department in 2006. Mr. Kirkham’s practice focused on representing investment banks in connection with high‑yield offerings and bridge loans, as well as other securities offerings, including initial public offerings and investment grade transactions. Mr. Kirkham also represented corporate clients in connection with financing, regulatory and other matters.

Mr. Kirkham was born in Ames, Iowa. He received an A.B. magna cum laude in physics from Harvard University in 1969, an M.S. in physics from Stanford University in 1971 and a J.D. with highest distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1975, where he was an Articles Editor of the Law Review and a recipient of the Murray Prize.

Mr. Kirkham joined Cravath in 1975 and became a partner in 1982.
