Robert E. Novick is the Firm’s Managing Attorney, consulting with and advising the Firm’s attorneys on proper federal and state court procedure. In addition to many other responsibilities, he reviews litigation documents prior to filing and maintains the Firm’s litigation calendar for active matters.

Mr. Novick was born in New York. He received a B.A. cum laude from Hunter College in 1973 and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1976, where he was Case Comments Editor of the Journal of International Law. Mr. Novick joined Cravath in 1976 and became Managing Attorney in 1979. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York.
