Cravath’s London Office Moves to 100 Cheapside
Thomas R. Brome retired from Cravath’s Corporate Department in 2007. Mr. Brome was a generalist corporate lawyer who advised a number of the Firm’s corporate clients on a broad range of general corporate and finance matters.
Mr. Brome was born in New York, New York. He received a B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1964 and an LL.B. cum laude from New York University School of Law in 1967, where he was an Article and Book Review Editor of the Law Review, a Root‑Tilden Scholar and elected to the Order of the Coif. Before joining Cravath, Mr. Brome served as a law clerk to Justice Warren E. Burger, then of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
Mr. Brome joined Cravath in 1968 and became a partner in 1975. He served as the Head of the Firm’s Corporate Department from 1993 to 1998.
