On May 25, 2025, WiseTech Global, developer of leading logistics execution software CargoWise, announced it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire E2open Parent Holdings, Inc. (“e2open”), a U.S.‑based leading provider of SaaS solutions in the global logistics value chain, for $3.30 per share in cash equating to an enterprise value of $2.1 billion. On May 7, 2025, Costamare Inc. (“Costamare”) announced that it has completed the spin‑off of its dry bulk business into a standalone public company, Costamare Bulkers Holdings Limited (“Costamare Bulkers”). Each holder of Costamare common shares received one common share of Costamare Bulkers for every five Costamare common shares held as of the close of business on April 29, 2025. Cravath represented AerCap Ireland Capital Designated Activity Company and AerCap Global Aviation Trust in connection with its $500 million registered fixed‑rate reset junior subordinated notes offering. AerCap Ireland Capital Designated Activity Company and AerCap Global Aviation Trust are wholly owned subsidiaries of AerCap Holdings N.V., the global leader in aircraft leasing. The notes will be listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. The transaction closed on April 1, 2025.

On March 7, 2025, Cravath partner Andrew C. Finch participated in the American Bar Association’s Forum on Air & Space Law, which was held in Washington, D.C. The event convened experts to provide an insider’s perspective on leading topics in air and space law, as well as a look forward to the leading policy issues at the forefront in 2025 and beyond. Andrew spoke on a panel entitled “Airline Competition Twists & Turns,” which reviewed new activity around competition and consolidation in the airline industry, and considered how regulators influence and contribute to this dynamic and what it will mean for the industry over the next decade.

On July 29, 2024, Cravath partner G.J. Ligelis Jr. was featured in Bloomberg Law’s “They’ve Got Next: 40 Under 40” series, which recognizes “the accomplishments of stellar young lawyers nationwide,” based on their work on key client matters, assumption of leadership roles, pro bono commitments and more. In a Q&A, G.J. described his work on transformative deals, including for client AerCap in its $30 billion acquisition of GE Capital Aviation Services, the largest M&A deal in the history of the aircraft leasing industry. G.J. also highlighted Just Eat Takeaway.com’s $7.3 billion combination with Grubhub as a matter in which he was “particularly proud of” his role, having led the Cravath team representing Just Eat Takeaway.com on M&A matters during his third year as partner. The feature, entitled “Busier Than Ever: How Cravath’s Litigation Team Has Grown Into an Industry Powerhouse,” noted that “Cravath’s litigators have consistently landed on some of the country’s most high‑profile cases with the most at stake” over the past two years and praised the department as “at the ready to handle any complex, pivotal case that comes its way.” Speaking to the publication, partner Kevin J.
