On April 15, 2010, Cravath partner John W. White spoke at the International Section of the American Bar Association’s program in New York. John was the U.S. representative on a multinational panel on “International Financial Reporting Standards: Implications on Transactions Previously Governed by U.S. GAAP.” He discussed the SEC’s recent policy statement and staff work plan on use of IFRS by U.S. issuers and the expectations for international markets.
