Chief Judge Rowan Wilson Speaks to City & State New York About His Work Leading the State’s Court System

City & State New York recently published a profile on Rowan Wilson, a former Cravath partner who retired from the Firm’s Litigation Department in February 2017. He was confirmed as Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals in April 2023 and had served as an Associate Judge of the court since 2017.

Saving the Met

Paul Cravath becomes president and chairman of the board of the Metropolitan Opera. After the Great Depression, Cravath saves the Metropolitan from financial ruin by reorganizing the operating company into a membership corporation and establishing the new organization as an educational institution.
