Four Decades for Justice
Three Cravath partners were featured speakers at the International Bar Association’s 2009 Annual Conference, which was held October 4-9, 2009, in Madrid, Spain.
Philip J. Boeckman chaired a session entitled “Evolution or Revolution: The Changing Role of Participants in Securities Offerings,” which focused on the responsibilities of company management, board members, bankers, lawyers, accountants and others in securities offerings. Keith R. Hummel spoke on a panel entitled “International Arbitration in Multinational Intellectual Property Disputes,” which explored the question of whether multinational IP disputes can or should be submitted to resolution through international arbitration. Eric W. Hilfers was a panelist on “Redesigning of Benefits and Compensation Packages of Top Executives,” which focused on the challenges companies face adapting these packages to the economic crisis.
