Robert I. Townsend, III is a partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department and the Firm’s Managing Partner. Bob’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions.
Bob was born in New York, New York. He joined Cravath in 1990 and became a partner in 1998.
