Each recruiting season, we aim to hire a summer class comprised of exceptional second-year law students from schools across the United States and Canada. We also welcome applications from outstanding third-year law students interested in joining us as incoming associates following graduation.
To complement our law school hiring efforts, we also consider applications from judicial clerks on a year-round basis. Approximately 44% of our litigators have clerked at some point in their careers. We highly value the experience gained during a clerkship, and offer a competitive package for those who have clerked.
Our interviewing and hiring process is designed so that both you and the Firm can make the right decision.
During the 2023 recruiting season, we will participate in interview programs at 15 law schools and 7 job fairs in an effort to meet a broad spectrum of outstanding law students.
Our summer program is designed to provide law students with an experience that mirrors the life of a first-year associate. Whether you choose to work in the Corporate, Litigation, Tax, Executive Compensation and Benefits or Trusts and Estates Departments, you will experience the day-to-day working life of a Cravath lawyer.
If you are interested in applying for an associate or summer associate position, please e-mail your resume and transcripts.
This section lists questions that law students most frequently ask about life and work at Cravath.
