Cravath’s New York Office Moves to Two Manhattan West

On December 8, 2016, Cravath was named one of the 25 most innovative law firms in the Financial Times’ annual “North America Innovative Lawyers” report. Inclusion in the “FT 25” is based on the originality, rationale and impact of a firm’s work. The Firm was recognized in three categories: “Innovation in Legal Work in Latin America,” “Great Legal Ideas” and “Innovation in Unlocking and Delivering Value.”
Cravath received an award for its top ranking in the “Innovation in Legal Work in Latin America” category, based on its representation of Argentina in overturning injunctions to resolve the country’s 15‑year litigation with holdout creditors. (Please click here for the news item about this award.)
In the “Great Legal Ideas” category, the Firm was recognized for its work on behalf of Alliant Techsystems Inc. in the spin‑off of its Sporting Group and merger of its Aerospace and Defense Groups with Orbital Sciences Corporation. In the “Innovation in Unlocking and Delivering Value” category, the Firm was recognized for its work on behalf of Olin Corporation in its Reverse Morris Trust acquisition of The Dow Chemical Company’s chlorine products division.
