An article by Cravath partner Benjamin Gruenstein and associate Alan E. Guy, entitled “Extraterritorial Reach of White-Collar Criminal Statutes,” appeared in the February 24, 2014, issue of the New York Law Journal as part of their Litigation Special Report. The article discusses the implications of the Second Circuit’s ruling in United States v. Vilar for white collar practitioners, beyond a securities fraud context to other statutes including mail, wire and bank fraud; racketeering; money laundering and obstruction of justice.
