Casey’s General Stores Receives Unsolicited Bid

On April 9, 2010, Cravath client Casey’s General Stores, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has rejected the March 9 unsolicited proposal from Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. Casey’s General Stores, Inc. owns, operates and franchises convenience stores offering a broad range of food and non-food products, including self-service gasoline. The lawyers involved in this matter include partners Allen Finkelson and George F. Schoen and associates Susan K. Jong and Gregory J. Ligelis, Jr. on corporate matters.
