Cravath represented the initial purchasers, led by Bank of America Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan Securities, in connection with the $900 million 144A/Reg. S notes offering of Celulosa Arauco y Constitución S.A., one of the world’s largest pulp and panel producers at the time of the offering. The transaction closed on November 2, 2017.
The Cravath team included partner David Mercado and senior attorney Ralph Currey on securities matters, partner Christopher K. Fargo on tax matters, and senior attorney Annmarie M. Terraciano on environmental matters.
