Financial Times Honors Cravath with the Innovation in Legal Expertise: Expanding Clients’ Business Award

On December 8, 2015, Cravath received the Innovation in Legal Expertise: Expanding Clients’ Business Award for its top ranking in the Financial Times annual report, which featured the most innovative work handled by law firms in North America.
The Firm received the highest ranking (“standout”) in the FT North America Innovative Lawyers 2015 report for its work on behalf of Mylan in three transformative transactions, including Mylan’s successful $5.3 billion inversion acquisition of Abbott’s generic drug business, its takeover defense against Teva’s $40 billion hostile bid and its $35 billion offer for Perrigo. Cravath partner Mark I. Greene, Leader of the Firm’s International Practice, was lauded for his work on these matters.
