Goodyear’s Registered High‑Yield Senior Debt Offering

Cravath represented the underwriters, led by Citigroup, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank Securities, Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities, HSBC, BofA Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo Securities, in connection with the US$900 million registered high‑yield senior debt offering of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tires, engaging in operations in most regions of the world. The transaction closed on May 13, 2016.

The Cravath team included partner Stephen L. Burns, associate Jacob B. Ornstein and foreign associate attorney David J. G. Hay on securities matters and associate Dmitry Zelik on tax matters. Nicholas Kypriotakis also worked on securities matters.
