IBM’s Acquisition of McD Tech Labs from McDonald’s

On October 27, 2021, IBM announced it has entered into an agreement with McDonald’s to further accelerate the development and deployment of its Automated Order Taking technology. Under the agreement, IBM will acquire McD Tech Labs, which was created to advance employee and customer facing innovations. Cravath is representing IBM in connection with the transaction.
