Jose Cuervo’s Acquisition of Pendleton Whisky Brands

On December 13, 2017, Becle, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Becle”), known collectively with its subsidiaries as Jose Cuervo, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Pendleton Whisky brand assets from Hood River Distillers, Inc. for $205 million. Pendleton Whisky is one of the leading super premium whisky brands in the United States. Cravath is representing Becle in connection with the transaction.
