Neuberger Berman’s Strategic Partnership with Mariner

On October 29, 2024, Neuberger Berman Capital Solutions and funds managed by Neuberger Berman Private Markets (together, “Neuberger Berman”) and Mariner, a national financial services firm, announced that Neuberger Berman has made a significant minority growth investment in Mariner. Cravath is representing Neuberger Berman in connection with the transaction.
The Cravath team is led by partners Peter Feist and Jihyun Chung and includes associate Ryan S. Genkin on M&A matters; and partner Arvind Ravichandran and associates Josh Banafsheha and William Swisher on tax matters. Rebecca Ryan and Pablo Storch also worked on M&A matters.

Neuberger Berman’s Consortium with EQT and CPP Investments to Acquire Nord Anglia for $14.5 Billion
On October 21, 2024, Neuberger Berman Private Markets (“Neuberger Berman”), EQT and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board ("CPP Investments"), together with global institutional investors, announced the signing of definitive share purchase agreements in Nord Anglia Education, a leading international schools organization ("Nord Anglia”), for an enterprise value of $14.5 billion. Existing owners EQT and CPP Investments will remain shareholders in Nord Anglia through a new fund investment and reinvestment, respectively, while Neuberger Berman will become a new strategic partner. Cravath is representing Neuberger Berman in connection with the transaction.
