Scott Bennett Speaks at Fordham Law Blockchain Regulatory Symposium

On November 11, 2019, Cravath partner D. Scott Bennett participated in the Fordham Law Blockchain Regulatory Symposium, held in New York City. Scott spoke on a panel entitled “Roundtable: Emerging Risks and Legal Issues in Moving Digital Assets Mainstream,” which discussed the custody and regulatory aspects of digital assets, updated IRS guidelines dealing with blockchain protocols and how the recent Joint Statement from multiple regulatory agencies impacts digital asset classifications.
