Scott Bennett Speaks at PLI’s 2017 Securities Offerings Conference

On March 3, 2017, Cravath partner D. Scott Bennett participated in “Securities Offerings 2017: A Public Offering: How it is Done,” a conference presented by the Practising Law Institute, held in New York City and webcast nationally. The program focused on the fundamentals of securities law, as well as important topics impacting the landscape for securities offerings, including the SEC’s approach to the registration process and developments related to disclosures in securities offerings.

Scott spoke on four panels entitled “Introduction to the Law of Securities Offerings,” “Working Effectively with the SEC: Preparing Your Registration Statement,” “Important Financial Statements, Accounting Disclosures and Key Securities Offering Documentation” and “Ethics, Due Diligence and the Offering Process.”
