Cravath’s London Office Moves to 100 Cheapside
On December 23, 2009, United Airlines, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Continental Airlines filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation for antitrust immunity to enable the three carriers to create a trans-Pacific joint venture. The trans-Pacific joint venture is the first of its kind between the U.S. and Asia. Upon DOT approval, United, ANA and Continental will be able to jointly manage activities, including scheduling, pricing and sales. Cravath represented United in connection with this proposed joint venture.
The lawyers involved in the matter include partner Andrew R. Thompson and associate Matthew B. Fox on corporate matters.
