Maggie Segall, Nick Dorsey and G.J. Ligelis Jr. Speak at IBA’s 2023 Annual Conference

Cravath partners Margaret T. Segall, Nicholas A. Dorsey and G.J. Ligelis Jr. spoke at the International Bar Association’s 2023 Annual Conference, which was held from October 29 to November 3, 2023, in Paris and convened legal professionals from across the globe.

Maggie spoke on a roundtable panel entitled “Latest Developments in Global Merger Control.” Nick co-chaired a panel entitled “Funding Growth for Closely Held Companies,” which addressed the various options available to closely held businesses for funding growth, including bank finance, equity investment, commercial partnerships and joint ventures. G.J. spoke on a panel entitled “Innovation and Trends in the Joint Venture Sphere: Ensuring Success and Avoiding Pitfalls,” which examined how lawyers can help address the challenges presented by joint ventures.
