Abigail C. Caponetti is a senior attorney in Cravath’s Trusts and Estates Department. Her practice focuses on advising high net worth individuals and families with respect to estate planning, charitable planning and trust and estate administration matters in order to achieve clients’ personal, business and philanthropic objectives.
Ms. Caponetti was born in West Newton, Massachusetts. She received a B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2012, where she was the Vice President of Advocates for Education.
Ms. Caponetti joined Cravath in 2012 and was elected a senior attorney in 2020 and of counsel in 2025.
