Cravath Lawyers Gather for Annual Summer Zoo Party
In June, Cravath lawyers joined the class of 2026 summer associates for the Firm’s annual gathering at the Central Park Zoo.
The fairy tale-themed event drew more than 800 guests, all warmly welcomed with whimsical hors d’oeuvres from a “Mad Hatter’s Tea House” display. Throughout the evening, attorneys and their guests enjoyed family-friendly activities that included magical‑wand-making and personalized typewriter poetry.
The Zoo Party has been held annually for over 30 years, bringing together Firm lawyers in celebration of Cravath’s summer program and the vibrancy of the wider Cravath community. It began in the early 1990s, conceived as an opportunity for attorneys and their families to connect and socialize outside busy caseloads or deal calendars, and to introduce Cravath summer associates to the network of lawyers they’d spend their summers working with and learning from.
A joyful tradition, this year’s event was another reminder of the special camaraderie the summer program fosters across the Firm.
