Cravath Publishes Winter 2026 Issue of Alumni Journal
February 13, 2026
On February 12, 2026, Cravath partners D. Scott Bennett, Elad Roisman, Nicholas A. Dorsey and Sasha Rosenthal‑Larrea were profiled in Lawdragon’s “Lawyer Limelight” series in connection with the Firm’s work for “companies at the forefront of innovation in digital assets, AI, fintech, biotech, media and emerging technologies.”
In the roundtable discussion, Scott, Elad, Nick and Sasha discussed their approach to representing innovators and reflected on their ability to provide advice at the intersection of technical fluency and a practical, commercial mindset. As Nick said: “Everything starts with understanding the client’s business and what they’re trying to build.” Scott similarly alluded to the importance of deep partnership with clients, noting “I’ve intentionally built my practice around finding the innovators who will be Cravath clients for the next several decades.”
Elad, a former Commissioner and Acting Chairman of the SEC, and Sasha, who focuses on intellectual property issues, spoke to how the diversity of Cravath’s cross‑practice expertise can help clients building their businesses in areas without abundant established precedent. In Lawdragon’s words, “what distinguishes [Cravath] is not only subject‑matter mastery but a collaborative culture that dissolves traditional practice boundaries. Partners reach seamlessly across corporate, regulatory, IP, antitrust and litigation teams, giving clients unified strategies from formation through IPOs, major transactions and high‑stakes disputes.”
“Clients come to us not simply for answers, but for foresight,” said Elad. “There’s real value in talking to someone who helped write the rules and understands how regulators think.” Sasha reflected on the Firm’s history of “building legal architecture around breakthrough ideas,” noting that the team draws on “that same mindset today” to help clients move quickly and manage risk.
Celebrating 200 years of partnership. In 2019, we celebrated our bicentennial. Our history mirrors that of our nation. Integral to our story is our culture.
