Cravath represented the underwriters, J.P. Morgan Securities, Jefferies, Credit Suisse and BTIG, in connection with the $217 million initial public offering of common stock of BioAtla, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company that develops highly specific and selective antibody‑based therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumor cancer. The transaction closed on December 18, 2020.
The Cravath team included partners William V. Fogg and Michael E. Mariani and associates Sarah K. Johnson and Kevin L. Cheng on capital markets matters, and associate Carlos Nicholas Obando on tax matters.
